We believe a fuel calculator has no business knowing who you are. This app works entirely offline with no accounts, no tracking, and no data leaving your phone.
📱 What data we store
Petroniq saves the following information locally on your device only, using Android SharedPreferences:
- Your last entered distance, vehicle average, and fuel price (to restore your previous calculation)
- Custom petrol and diesel prices you set in Settings
- Your preferred distance unit (KM or Miles)
- Dark mode preference
This data is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or accessible to us or any third party.
🚫 What we do not do
- We do not collect any personal information
- We do not require an account or registration
- We do not display advertisements
- We do not use analytics or crash reporting SDKs
- We do not access your location, contacts, camera, or any other sensitive permissions
- We do not share any data with third parties
- We do not connect to any server or the internet
🔑 Permissions
Petroniq requests no special Android permissions. The app does not access your location, network, storage, camera, microphone, or contacts.
🧒 Children's privacy
Petroniq does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, this app is safe for users of all ages.
📝 Changes to this policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version here with a revised effective date. Since we collect no data, any changes are unlikely to affect your privacy.
